Twitter chaos after wave of blue tick impersonations — www.bbc.co.uk Blue tick accounts impersonating major brands, politicians and celebrities have appeared on the platform.
Trolls are out in force on Twitter. Elon Musk has opened the floodgates to trolls, who have recently been impersonating some influential brands and celebrities, leading to chaos and confusion.
How can they get away with this? 🧐
After acquiring Twitter, Musk brought in a subscription service to purchase 'blue ticks' for as little as £6.99 per month. And, after its launch last week, tech giants like Apple and Nintendo have since had their ticks suspended. Fake accounts have been circulating too, posing as Meta's chief Mark Zuckerberg and current US President, Joe Biden.
How long will Twitter survive in the hands of Elon Musk? Following the Truss vs Lettuce viral campaign, there's a new bet on the table: Twitter vs Lettuce. 🥬
Who will survive the longest? Cast your vote 👇

2. Lettuce 🥬

NASA's Artemis 1 moon mission — www.space.com See the latest news about NASA's Artemis 1 moon mission here.
50 years have ticked on since NASA last launched a rocket into space. 🚀
Weather permitting, Artemis 1 (the most powerful rocket ship in history) will later attempt to close that decades-long gap. However, the mission is merely a test with the rocket being unmanned. The only crew onboard these test flights are sensor-rigged mannequins that will gauge radiation levels and soft toys, Snoopy and Shaun the Sheep, as gravity detectors.
If successful, NASA will pave the way for a crewed landing in the near future, seeing Artemis 3 landing on the moon. 🌚
No woman has ever walked on the moon before, but NASA plans to change this as we will see the addition of a woman’s name added to the moonwalkers list (in 2025). 👩🚀
Bill Nelson, NASA's administrator, said:
We’re going back to the moon after 50 years, to stay, to learn to work, to create, to develop new technologies and new systems and new spacecraft in order to go to Mars.

Developer Stories: Meet Dan, Principal Software Engineer and Early Tech Talent Advocate — www.haystackapp.io Meet Dan, a Principal Software Engineer and an advocate for nurturing young tech talent. Read more about his journey and how he inspires the younger generation.
Hey, Dan 👋 Nice to meet you! Do you want to give us a quick introduction to yourself and what it is you do in your current role at Cloudsoft?
Hello! I’m originally from Canada. I moved to the UK in 2005, originally intending to be here a year or two and ended up staying. I’ve been working in software development for over 15 years in various roles and industries. I’ve been fortunate to have the experience of working with public and private organisations, as well as with consulting and product development companies. In my current role at Cloudsoft I help our clients with cloud adoption or use the cloud better. My particular passion is Serverless on AWS.
There are a lot of grads/junior developers in the tech space but it seems that most companies seem to favour the more senior developers. Why do you think it’s important to nurture young tech talent?
This is hugely important! We want to be encouraging any kind of tech talent whether it's young or people switching careers. My advice would be to try and start with a bigger company. They usually have a graduate program (or apprenticeship) and can accommodate less experienced people. There is a massive skills gap and this is why I started Tech For Kids - to get them interested in technology at a young age. It’s up to employers to have that culture of learning where people can grow.
