At least half of the women across the UK feel unsafe when walking alone at night - but could advancements in tech be the way forward to make the streets safer?
Since its launch in March of this year, there’s been a surge in popularity of the ‘WalkSafe’ app with more than 500,000 downloads and it’s one of the fastest-growing safety apps.

boohooMAN just launched an NFT collection so you can turn your digital wallet into a digital wardrobe. 🛍 Luxury brands are now flocking to the digital realm, with Dolce & Gabbana hitting an incredible 6 million dollar sale on its first NFT collection. Cathy Hackl, an industry expert and chief metaverse officer plus CEO of the Futures Intelligence Group, said: “We’ll see an evolution of volumetric video and NFTs that will not only unlock unique access and experiences but also take ownership of digital assets to new levels. We’re just scratching the surface of what NFTs will be able to unlock for fashion.”
Just recently announced - an NFT owner made a mistake that cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars. Maxnaut, on the digital marketplace OpenSea, listed a Bored Ape NFT for 75 ether (roughly $300,000) but they accidentally typed 0.75 ether ($3,000) as the price. Before he could change it, it had already been bought! 🤯
Did you know that NFT is also the word of the year, according to Collins Dictionary.
