The deal gives a 1.5% fully diluted stake, expanding the partnership into regulated crypto markets, tokenised assets, derivatives, and institutional liquidity, and shows how major exchanges are getting more involved in crypto.
The investment supports “world models” that use real-world data like video and physical interactions, aiming to better simulate reality and advance areas like robotics and autonomous systems.
The deal runs from 2027–2032, extending an existing agreement as Meta scales its AI infrastructure. It reflects its strategy of building data centres while still relying on CoreWeave for additional GPU capacity.
Google expands its partnership with Intel to use multiple CPU generations, including Xeon 6 chips for AI training and inference, and IPUs to improve efficiency by offloading networking, storage, and security tasks in data centres.
Driven by faster growth and strong adoption of its Advantage+ ad tools, Meta’s expansion across Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads is also strengthening its position, while Google’s growth remains more steady in comparison.
DeepX is preparing a domestic listing and may consider a U.S. IPO later, with plans to appoint banks after its current funding round. The on-device AI chip firm works with companies like Hyundai Motor and Baidu.
