Have you ever sent a text in error, or even worse to the wrong person (awkward 😳) - Apple is introducing an edit button for iPhone users. The feature will allow you to undo messages, for both you and the receiver.
The tech giant announced a bunch of new features at their annual software developer conference. Some of the new features to be rolled out include Apple Pay Later 💳 and work-related lock screens.
Much to their disappointment, Apple is being forced to change their lightning ports to USB-C under the new EU laws. By 2024, all smartphones, tablets and cameras that are sold in the EU must have the same charging ports.

Robots - would you trust them to carry out a human’s job? 🤖
A recent trial, carried out by the University College London and the University of Sheffield, has come to the conclusion that surgeries carried out by robots are less dangerous. 🤯
If you were told your surgery had been carried out by a robot, you might be a bit concerned. But, robot-assisted surgery lets surgeons carry out a variety of complicated operations with more precision, flexibility and control than traditional approaches allow.
Even though the surgeries performed are minor, the study has proven to reduce patient recovery time as well as needing to spend much less time in the hospital afterwards. 🏥

More and more businesses are starting to look at the environmental impact of their software, to be able to reduce their carbon footprint 👣 and become more committed to sustainable practices.
It’s been identified that 4% of all CO₂ emissions come from global data transfer. So, as a programmer how can you become more environmentally friendly? ⬇️
